Roundtable Calls are a "coffee chat” hosted virtually so you can participate from your desk. They provide real-time, informative discussions and relationship-building with other members that takes place in a virtual medium, giving you a chance to interact with other WBL members outside of in-person events. Calls will be limited to 10 participants who are Full WBL Members and meet the criteria of being a part of, running, or starting a women's network at your company.  Those that do not meet the criteria will not be allowed to participate.

This call is ACTIVE AND PARTICIPATORY.  It’s not just for listening while you multi-task!  Show up ready to talk, share ideas, and learn new things. Add this to your calendar if you’re interested in talking and networking – it is not a webinar!

The contents of these calls depend on what the participants want to talk about.  This call will likely cover:

·         How can internal women’s networks be most effective?

·         What has worked for WBL members who run these networks?

·         What have some of the challenges been in setting these networks up?

·         Is it worth it to try to set up networks focusing on specific populations (women in sales, senior women, etc)?

·         How has your organization addressed mentoring and is this part of your women’s initiative?

·         What has been the role of men in your company’s women’s initiatives?

·         How are these networks evolving, and are these types of networks here to stay?

As you prepare to join the call, be ready to answer:

·         What’s one thing you’ve seen that’s worked well?

·         What’s a programming or other idea you’re wanting to try but not sure how it will be received?

·         What is one activity or program that has not at all resonated?

·         What has surprised you in working with this sort of network?

·         How have you ensured stable funding for this type of network and how did you navigate the politics?

·         How have you seen the needs of these kinds of networks change over time?

We ask you to consider these questions before the call so that you are ready and excited to participate.
